Spatial Morphology #185 (Suite of 10 Framed works), Drawing Sculpture: Form, Thread, Needles, Nails, Permanent Marker and Matte Black, Gloss Black & Gold Paint on the Wall

The Site-specific work at Tri Art and Culture was a conversation between the body and the architecture, creating a continuum parallax, primarily imperceptible to our visual sense, until one slows down to experience it. The work is based on the principle of parallax, created through an intra-network of sculptures in metal, drawings on paper and the structural elements of the site itself. The interaction of sculptures, drawings and site stages a performance of movement, connecting each other through strings and forms extending from their bodies. The work expects the viewer to move along its extensions and discover the subtle shifts, undulations and deception of black.
