Spatial Morphology

These drawings begin with architectural fragments- a wall, a corner, a void, a shadow- but free from their original context, just like the spatial morphology photographs. What remains is not the building itself, but the traces of corners, openings, shadows and edges that continue to shape the way we see. The barely perceptible oil pastel lines in some of these works are intentionally understated. Rather than defining form, they hint at hidden axes, remembered alignments and possible movement through space.
