Lateral, a group exhibition was presented at the Kona Alternate Space, Delhi, in 2013. Curated by Heidi Fitchner, the exhibition included a wide range of works including photographs, linear drawings, and a site-specific intervention at the derelict building situated in Jor Bagh, Delhi.

Lateral exhibited works that ranged from multiple series and across mediums. Spatial Morphology: Photographs exhibit a body of digital photographs that uncover abstract compositions hidden within the architectural spaces we encounter everyday. Rather than documenting architecture as a complete structure, the work isolates fragments, details, and incidental relationships within it, thereby allowing their inherent geometries and spatial features to emerge in the foreground. The work examines how light, texture, and perspective shape our embodied way of looking and experiencing space.

Black Drawings and Chiaroscuro series exhibited an exploration of linear compositions with black and white colored oil pastels as a textured medium of mark making on paper. Thereby depicting their distinct visual characteristics within the respective series.

The exhibition also consisted of a site-specific work within the same architectural space. The intervention aimed to expand and respond to what was already present within the engaged space. Elements such as luminous rays of day light entering through the pre-existent ventilating holes, resonated with an ongoing and deep-rooted interest towards light, line, and space. Created as a temporary drawing installation following the spatial structural conditions of the dilapidated site, the work was a further continuation of site-specific explorations initiated during the Sarai Reader 09 project in 2012-13.
