Kona is a derelict building in Jor Bagh, Delhi. Building upon the existing architectural structure as an entry point, this site specific work continues upon an intention to expand and respond to what is already present within the space. Elements such as luminous rays of daylight ingress through pre-existing ventilating holes, resonated with an ongoing and deep-rooted interest towards light, line, and space. The site specific work was a temporary drawing installation following the spatial structural conditions, and is a continuation of site-specific explorations initiated during Sarai Reader 09 in 2012-13.
